DTP successfully implemented Information Security Management System (ISMS) and obtained the ISO 27001 certificate, issued on December 12, 2023. We are now officially recognized as a company that meets the highest, internationally recognised, standards of security in the “design, implementation, and development of software, as well as in the storage and processing of information on a cloud platform”.
What is ISO/IEC 27001?
ISO/IEC 27001 is the world’s best-known standard for information security management systems (ISMS). It defines requirements an ISMS must meet. The ISO/IEC 27001 standard provides companies with guidance for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving an Information Security Management System.
The certificate is issued by independent organisations. Passing the audit positively and compliance with ISO/IEC 27001 mean that an organization or business has put in place a system to manage risks related to the security of data owned or handled by the company, and that this system respects all the best practices and principles outlined in this international standard.
ISO 27001 certification is not given permanently. Once a year, the company that receives it undergoes a special external audit, and after three years, it is necessary to renew the certificate.
